Our Auxiliary is made up of dedicated volunteers committed to serving and comforting the residents of the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. Some spend an hour a week, others a few hours a day, visiting with residents and providing assistance to both residents and staff.

The Auxiliary works to enhance the quality of life and spiritual well-being of residents through monthly birthday parties, holiday celebrations, and offerings of music at daily chapel services.

We ensure that every nursing home resident is remembered on their birthday, and with an annual holiday gift. We also demonstrate our gratitude to Center staff by honoring them with an annual Appreciation Luncheon.

Through various fundraising events including the Treasure Trove Boutique, the Brandon Oaks Auxiliary supplies medical equipment and new furnishings that benefit the residents and assist the staff. Since its founding in 1973, the Auxiliary has raised and contributed more than $230,000.

The Auxiliary’s annual fundraising activities include:

• Fashion Show and Luncheon
• Fall Bazaar
• Honorary and Memorial Gifts
• Yard Sales in the spring and fall

The Auxiliary had its annual luncheon and fashion show at the end of March. A record number attended and everyone had a good time.
