
Brandon Oaks is Going Green
At Brandon Oaks, we make sure we do our part to create a healthy living environment for everyone on our campus. From our staff to our residents, Brandon Oaks is committed to making healthy choices:
- We are very proud of our newest living accommodations, The Pines at Brandon Oaks, which include a comprehensive list of sustainable features. Click here to learn more.
- Our new General Manager, Building Systems, Charles Norfleet, is evaluating our current facility support systems including heating, cooling and ventilation systems for maximum efficiency and effectiveness. Click here to learn more about Charles.
- All old light bulbs through out common areas are replaced with CFL bulbs (compact fluorescent bulbs)
- Our kitchen uses biodegradable carry out containers made of sugarcane
- Our Recycling Committee makes sure all our paper, glass and plastic is sorted and placed in its proper bin for recycling twice per week
- The Auxiliary resells donated items to support our five-star Nursing and Rehab Center and as well as to local charity
- Beautiful grounds are one of the many benefits of living at Brandon Oaks. Seasonal blooms line the walking paths around our campus, including a variety of over 100 different roses.
