Brandon Oaks donates equipment and time to Rescue Mission Ministries

Brandon Oaks recently donated brand new kitchen equipment to be used at the Roanoke area Rescue Mission Ministries. Among the donations were a stove, refrigerator, microwave and dishwasher for the new free clinic for the homeless.

Brandon Oaks’ culinary staff also catered the Rescue Mission’s Oh Happy Day Celebration on February 14 and sponsored a reception and tour of the newly opened G. Wayne Fralin Free Clinic. The clinic offers health care services to homeless clients of the Rescue Mission.

Brandon Oaks is a LifeCare retirement community in Roanoke, Virginia, offering independent and assisted living and five-star rated nursing care. The Rescue Mission is the largest homeless shelter in Virginia, with almost 400 beds.
